Makes the modern ’boutqiue’ builds on pretty much the same design a sound investment! Then again when transistors came alot of places almost automatically ditched valve/vacuum tube based gear (they should of known better than to follow in the military’s footsteps lol). Reading how many U47′s got pretty much given away for the KM’s another example. Although each has its place of course (I am not saying either/or is superior here!).
