Frank Zappa did this in the 60ss
Hey Bob – When I composed “Bespoken” I was going for the sonic opposite of what Zappa did: I wanted to make something that was mostly free of arhythmic cacophony or abrasive elements. If I wanted to sound like Zappa’s “Steve Allen Show” bit, I would have thrown all my bikes down the stairs while recording. 🙂
Hey, is there a way to buy “Bespoken” without using iTunes? I find iTunes extremely uncooperative and a hassle to use. Would be nice if there are other alternative ways of buying your music 😛
Absolutely… At first it was only iTunes, then I discovered Bandcamp! Check it: http://johnnyrandom.bandcamp.com Let me know if that works.
It works perfectly. Thanks for the great music. Continue to inspire and compose. You have all of my support. 🙂
