The very first 64bit plugin versions are out now, starting with the plugins from the public beta test earlier this summer: epicVerb, BaxterEQ, preFIX, NastyDLAmkII, NastyVCS and DensityMkIII. All versions have been carefully revised, are backwards compatible and some includes bugfixes and improvements as well. VST3 versions are not (yet) included due to stability issues. For further release notes and downloads please refer to the download page.
The remaining VoS plugins are planned to be (re-) released one-by-one until end of this year. Most likely, they will reappear as mkII versions š First one will be FerricTDS mkII which is already in the finishing process and to be released early September.

WOW! Amazing, at last 64 bit
Came by the site for the first time in a couple of years. Completely by coincidence, and mostly for nostalgic reasons. Loved the plugins back in the day, but haven’t been able to use them since I switched to a 64bit system. Noticed that some of the plugins said “Includes 64bit version now”. Got really stoked and started downloading. Absolutely fantastic! And then I noticed the date of the update – they were released today! Mind blown!

Thanks for the report! HiDPI mode is indeed tricky and potentially affects all plugins not providing separate high resolution UI assets – the forums are full with issues on that topic. Could you please double-check if the problem also occurs if the Windows HiDPI mode is used (can be set to override the DAW App)?

Make sure you are putting them in the right folder for reaper to find them. They work perfectly in reaper for me.
Thanks, but this is exaclty what I did. Reaper recognises them during scanning but they do not show up in Reapers pluginlist. Clearing the plugin cache and rescanning didn’t help.
Just chiming is to say that these new 64-bit versions aren’t showing up in Reaper for me either. The usual fixes haven’t helped (cache-clear, rescan…). And thanks for updating these, Herbert!

This is fantastic news – When I ran a 32 bit system, I used all your plugins regularly. I have been missing them so much since switching to a 64 bit system. I especially miss BootEQ – That thing makes everything sound good with very little hassle.
The download links on the download page don’t really work correctly, Instead of downloading the zip files, they simply open the zip file in the Google Drive viewer without the ability to download – it’s really frustrating!
You can fix this by editing the sharing links that Google Drive gives you before you run them through bit.ly. The link that Google drive gives you should be in this format:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/view?usp=sharing
if you change them to:
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID
and re-shorten them with bit.ly they will act as direct download links.
There is always a download option on that Google Drive viewer in the upper right corner. Does that not work in your case? Which browser?
A bit of further investigation revealed that one of my Chrome extensions was causing the Save to Drive / Download / Menu icons to display as black on a black background. All good now.
Thanks for the awesome plugins – I phased out all my 32-bit plugins a while ago and it’s great to have Density and EpicVerb back in my arsenal again!
EpicVerb and Ferric TDS:
I have the 32 bit versions and they work great.
However, I downloaded the 64 bit versions and
I ran into a small problem.
I have two computers (laptop and desktop).
Both computers are Windows 7 64 bit Pro.
I use REAPER (64 bit) DAW.
My desktop is offline (never connected
to the internet). My laptop is connected
to the internet, but I have the Windows
updates turned off.
When I tested the two 64 bit plugins on
my laptop (the laptop is used for testing
and mobile use), the two plugins worked
fine.
However, when I tested these plugins
on my desktop, I got the “MSVCR120 dll
file missing” error.
This puzzles me because the OS system
that is installed on both computers
is from the exact same DVD install disk
(I do have two licenses so that I can use
the OS on two different computers,
but that has nothing to do with this issue).
Every 64 bit and 32 bit plugin that I own
works fine on my desktop computer
(including the Variety Of Sound 32 bit
versions of EpicVerb and Ferric TDS).
I realize that I can download the MSVCR120
dll file on my laptop (internet computer)
and transfer that file (USB drive) to my
desktop computer and install it there to
make the plugins work on my desktop.
But, why?
Every plugin that I own in my existing
collection does not require the MSVCR120 file.
Is there a version of the VOS 64 bit plugins
that do not require the MSVCR120 available
for download?
I not interested in installing that file
onto my desktop because everything
works fine there (except these
two new 64 bit versions of EpicVerb
and Ferric).
The puzzling thing is that MSVCR120
file must exist on my laptop because
the VOS 64 bit versions work there.
The OS system is installed from the same
DVD install disk on both computers and
the laptop (internet computer) has never
had a Windows update since I installed
the OS from the DVD.
I guess that VOS has to use this C++
system for its programming. But, if
so, why do the VOS 32 bit versions
work fine on the desktop computer,
but the 64 bit versions have been changed?
My OS is 64 bit, the DAW is 64 bit, I bridge
the 32 bit plugins.

The current version of the 64bit compiler I’m using refers to that. There is no reason in the program code itself.

Herbert thank you very much for this 64bit update. NastyDLA, epicVerb, Ferric and Density are all favorites. It seems though that the Malware Bytes heuristic filter reports a positive on the zip files. Funny thing is it doesnāt report anything on the unzipped folders. Probably a false positive but I am just bringing it up.

For me all 64 and 32 bit plugins are working great in REAPER. Both at the same time.

Hey! Ok now I can see them. I just did a fresh install of Win 10. Yesterday I didn’t see any, but today I can see the VoS plugins, no matter how I move them to vstplugins directory.
I don’t know what was wrong, maybe a windows update fixed? Anyway, very great. BaxterEQ is golden mastering tool! Waiting for more 64-bit.

Im really glad that some of the plugins are coming out as 64-bit, thank you for that!! But I need to ask about the Thrillseeker VBL- any plans on that too? This is my main and favourite master bus plugin ever- nothing comes close to this and it is essential to my sound, so I would be over the moon to see it 64-bit someday… š Hope you’re great and healthy and I wish you the best.
