woooooo! thank
Hello Herbert. Unfortunately, again: the plugins (32 and 64 bit) are not showing up in latest REAPER 6.58, Win 11. Maybe you can do a quick setup of Win11 in VMware or similar and check the deal, should be quick. Thanks, Jay!
It works for me on Reaper/Win7. Although it crashed the whole DAW the first time I inserted it.
Could you please double-check if the Microsoft Visual C++ Libraries are missing and needs to be installed: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
Jay : same problem here with Reaper and win11, the plugins are not showing up.
thanks, man! awesome to see you’ve restarted putting out plugins.
Great news!
Thanks Bootsy… I needed this… 🙂 Cheers mate.. warm regards.
I love you! Thank you so much!
Awww, Bootsy, please continue to make epicVerb available as a legacy download too. Super congrats and thanks for your new epicPlate, but Many of us still really, really like epicVerb. May we please have links to both plugins?
Epic plate wont show within Cockos Reaper vst plugins 😢
Thanks for the new plugin but please keep epicVerb available too.
Today I was reading about a (different) reverb processor that emphasized harmonic content, and I thought “didnt Epicverb do that 10 years ago already?”. Following that thought, I figured to check out this website to see if there was new content. And here it is, EpicPlate!
Last time I had an idea to check VoS (after 10 years of not checking), the new BootEQ was just released.
I am usually not a spiritual person but at this point I’m starting to doubt my beliefs… Anyways, I am looking very forward to checking out the possibilities of this verb has!
Wow! So happy to see VoS alive again! When I started mixing and mastering back in 2010 or so, I have used VoS plugins almost exclusively. Learned a lot, mixed and mastered a lot. Good years. Like a flashback! EpicVerb was my go to reverb for years, then switched to classic Audified reverbs. Thanx for coming back, will try it for sure!
Bootsy, you are the best, PERIOD.
Your plugins are great. I´ve been using them for years, but unfortunately, they don´t work after I switched to Win10. I tried them in both Cubase 9 and 11.
Hello, thanks for another great plugin. I compared this plate reverb with the one in your EpicVerb plugin. They sound very similar. Am I correct in assuming they are based on the same algorithm? One thing I like a lot about this new plate Reverb plugin is the gate feature. Very useful. I’m wondering if you could implement a Gate Hold Time knob – perhaps in ms and music values like 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 notes etc.? The VOS line of plugins are truly the essential tools I use in every mix. Thanks!
Thanks for your feedback! The reverb algorithm is very different from the old one, since its not based on delay networks anymore.
thank you for your gifts to audio community. but a question appeared in my mind, should we expect an epichall, or epicroom, etc?
Look!!! look…Epicverb and Densitymilk III …sublime!!! https://www.facebook.com/761173755/videos/1125504118012517/
I’ve moved past most of your plugins over the many years to paid alternatives, except for VBL… but this one is genuinely amazing. Easy to use and very colorful plate, I love it; the gate function is awesome.
PS: I hope VBL gets a revamp with some oversampling 🙂
for sure 🙂
I’m back to mixing using just your plugins again, and very happy to do so. Thanks so much!
Can you please fix the levels so it’s not boosting the dry signal. At 100% dry setting, the dry signal gets boosted by ~3.4 dB.
Hi? Bootsy! Thank You for another awesome plugin. Do you have any plans to bring ThrillseekerLA and ThrillseekerVBL back to 64bit life?
surething!
Instant gratification!! Great sounding device.
Thank you very much!
Very nice reverb, very silky. It’s a bit of a hassle to use it preferably as an insert effect because of the compression on the output, but it does balance well with the dry signal in fact. There is only one issue with the plugin. I tried disabling the drive, for linear input to the reverb, and the plugin produces very high spikes, causing Reaper to automute the track.
Very sad that you’re not continuing epicverb. I only check this website every year or so for updates hoping for a 64bit version update. Very excited to see you’re still in it.
I use epicverb on every project I do and almost every track. I hope you reconsider.
I am with the others on epicVerb. By far my favorite reverb and I used it for as long as possible until it was the only plugin I used with 32bit and bridging. Actually, I still use it from time to time when nothing else is the right choice. IIf at all possible please reconsider putting epicVerb out to pasture. Thanks!
