one year, one Blog

Exactly one year ago I’ve opened this Blog and during the year I’ve been really surprised over and over again about getting so much feedback here from you. Meanwhile, the posts here have been read half a million times and some posts even received more than hundred comments. some delay on further updates

There will be some delay on the forthcoming plug-in updates due to some unexpected technical problems. This affects the announced maintenance release for BootEQ mkII and the epicVerb 1.5 update. An updated version of FerricTDS containing the awaited input level switch will be postponed as well. I don’t now yet how long this delay will be.

KVR Developer Challenge 2009
Yeah, right – we did it: “With over twice as many points as the second placed entry, FerricTDS by bootsie, a Windows VST effect Tape Dynamics Simulator plug-in is the clear favourite in this years Challenge. Bootsie wins 30% of the prize fund as the top Windows entry!”

epicVerb release 1.5 is on the way

An important major update for the epicVerb digital reverberation simulator is (almost) done and will be released in the beginning of December 2009. It not only features some bugfixes and major stability improvements but also some re-worked algorithms which supports way more dense and three-dimensional reverberation processing.

Both maintenance releases are containing important stability improvements, especially for the memory issues that were causing crashes when deleting plugins in some host applications.
